I always wanted to know. I do think they get a base salary, however larger small, and in addition receive something from being on tv.

I'm not saying it equals to a million dollars, but a few years of saving, living below your means and investing can get you to a million dollars real quick, so it's possible.

I always assumed they get base salary and maybe a bonus depending on the story they get. They can measure how big a story is based on how many outlets are licensing the exclusive picture(s) to and how many hits the page is getting. But most of the people on the show aren't actually doing much work jsyk, if any at all. For example the surfer dude (max hodges) was picked just to be on it, he didn't work for TMZ before (probs twinking for Harvey if we're being honest) they just got put on the show cause Harvey thought they'd be entertaining. TMZ has tons of staffers that do all the actual work of contacting sources, a bit of bribing, passing along tips to their exclusive photogs, etc. Charles is the real executive director though.

I don't think they make a lot only because so many tmz personalities have complained on air not being able to pay rent or living with a roommate and some have quit and Van if you're reading this I will suck the life out dat dack.

I never thought about how much they do or don't get paid, TMZ is my daily must-see TV though. I like the mix of personalities, and I dare say that I like Harvey's personality. Charles, Kelly (blonde in picture), Van (black dude), Mike, Charlie (blonde ditzy girl), Raquel (black girl), and the rest, they give diverse view points. I don't always agree, but I listen. The other girl pictured up top, Siovaughn, I don't like. They mostly show her on TMZ and not TMZ Live, thank god.

I remember reading an article about the inside operations of TMZ and it spoke about how staff gets paid dust to perform like hoes on a 24/hr stroll. They're definitely being pimped.

-The tall black guy with the backwards hat.
-The heavy light skin black girl with the attitude that sits in the back.
-The fat dude on the computer that is also sitting in the middle (he too fat to stand...always sitting).
-The two white girls that sit near him and like to argue.

You know which people I'm talking about. It seems like these kids are doing a minimum wage job, but you know Harvey got money and TMZ is very popular so I dont know really what they bank account is looking like. I'm asking because I was watching Wendy a few days ago and she was showing a preview of Millionaire Matchmaker which is supposed to be match making "celebrities" in the next season, and the TMZ blonde surfer dude was on the show being hooked up (not sure how he is a celebrity, that's why I put quotations). I know these TMZ people aint making "millions" or hundreds or thousands.
